Vacation and Time Off Policy

To request a vacation or time off you must give us a minimum 2 weeks notice by submitting a "Vacation Request Form" for approval.
If you are on a transcription team, only one person per site can be off at any one time. If you are typing for a client who has multiple sites, only two total for all the sites can be off at any one time. If you only want a day off please work out coverage with the other members, you do not have to submit a form.

June, July, and August

Are our most requested months for Summer vacations. To give everyone equal opportunity we begin accepting requests on March 1st at 12:00 noon (NOT before) for that years Summer vacation.
Once we secure coverage for you, you will be notified that your vacation is approved. Please remember do not make unchangeable reservations or plans until your vacation is approved.

Before your day off or beginning your vacation, you must do three things; First, deliver your last days work to our client's office(s). Second, email us a PayPeriod folder for all your work since your last PayPeriod folder. Third, call us to confirm that we got your email. We must have your work available in the event one of our client's need a document in your absence. 
Even single days off during June, July & August must have final approval by our office before you can take off as this is a very busy time of the year.
